stainless steel Filter element is mainly made of 304 or 316L stainless steel, it is durable in structure and offers a large dirty holding capacity with a minimal pressure drop.
Element surfaces can be plain cylindrical, or pleated to increase surface area. Pleated stainless steel cartridge units rated 100 microns or finer have an underlying support layer of coarser mesh to prevent pleat collapse.
